Dutch international heavy lift and transport specialist Wagenborg Nedlift has ordered two Demag All Terrain cranes, a 160 tonne AC 160-5 and a 500 tonne AC 500-8.
The five axle AC 160-5 features a 68 metre main boom plus a 33 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, and is mounted on a 2.75 metre wide carrier with an overall length of 14 metres. The eight axle AC 500-8 features a 56 metre main boom, and when combined with its 90 metre luffing jib provides a maximum tip height of 146 metres. The new cranes are expected to be delivered in early 2019.
Headquartered in Groningen, northern Netherlands, Wagenborg Nedlift is the crane and transport division of one of Holland’s largest shipping companies, Koninklijke (Royal) Wagenborg Group. It operates a fleet of around 150 All Terrain and crawler cranes with capacities up to 750 tonnes.
