The deal was signed by chairman Chris Sanghvi and Terex president Steve Filipov at the Sanghvi Movers headquarters in Pune, India.
Chris Sanghvi said: “We are extremely happy with the performance of these cranes as they are easy to assemble and dismantle, and there is no maintenance cost and because of the good product support. These next generation cranes will be utilised for future projects erecting 3MW capacity turbines up to 160 metres in height.”
Sanghvi took delivery of five CC 3800-1s last year, and eight CC 2800-1 crawlers in 2015.
Steve Filipov said: “This is clearly a testimony to our expertise in large crawler cranes and the confidence in which Sanghvi has placed in our products. Sanghvi Movers now owns twelve CC 3800-1 cranes and 21, CC 2800-2 cranes and will be the largest global fleet owner for these Demag products.”
