Terex has unveiled a new range of Rough Terrain and tower cranes at its factory in Fontanafredda, Italy today.
They include five new Rough Terrain cranes – the 45 tonne RT 1045 with 31.1 metre main boom and tip height of 33.5 metres, the 44 tonne RT 1045L with 37.4 metre main boom and 39.5 metre tip height, the 70 tonne RT 1070 with 32.4 metre main boom and 35 metre tip height, 80 tonne RT 1080 with 34 metre main boom and 37 metre tip height and the 80 tonne RT 1080L with a 42.1 metre main boom providing a tip height of 45 metres.

A new flat top tower crane has also been launched, the CTT 172-8 with eight tonnes capacity and a maximum jib length of 65 metres at which it can handle 1.71 tonnes.
The company has also shown a new self erecting tower crane design with the 4.4 tonne CSE 32, which can handle 1.05 tonnes at its maximum jib length, and can lift at up to 56 metres per minute.

Finally, Terex has shown its Tower Cranes Lift, an operator elevator with a 200kg capacity and a maximum lift height of 160 metres. It has a lifting speed of up to 40 metres per minute, and Terex says it is easy to install on any of its tower cranes.
