President Mitch Landry said: “The Liebherr mobile cranes we own are popular cranes, efficiently satisfying the needs of our customer base. It is nice that these new models have a longer telescopic boom, reducing the need to install a jib and allowing Deep South to work even more efficiently in congested areas.”

Established in 1968, family owned Deep South is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and operates from a further five locations in the USA, plus an office in Cartagena, Colombia. The company employs around 700 and runs a fleet of over 200 cranes with capacities between two and 2,700 tonnes, as well as specialised rigging and hauling equipment.
