Genie Expands New Sales Team

Genie has appointed six new sales representatives in North America.

Dickey Bennett has rejoined Genie as a regional sales manager for the states of Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. Bennett previously spent 15 years with Genie, having joined the company in 2001, leaving in 2016 when he moved to Wacker Neuson as a sale representative.

Justin Kelley has been appointed as a territory sales manager for the western region, including northern California and the majority of Nevada. Kelley has been with Genie for 20 years, most recently managing the company’s e-commerce business. Prior to that he was a supervisor for the inside sales team and a buyer for the global service parts business.

David Porter joins the company as a regional sales manager for the mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia and North Carolina. He joins the company from H&E Equipment, where he has been a branch manager for the past four years or so. Prior to that he was a branch manager at United Rentals having joined RSC in 2006, and they stayed on after it was acquired by United in 2011.

Tim Schmidt joins as a regional sales manager for the central region, covering North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Manitoba, Canada. He was previously a territory manager at Ritchie Brothers auctioneers.

Mike Shaw has been appointed as senior regional sales manager on the CAT team in the western region. He has previously with Wagner Rents as a branch manager with Wagner Rents, as a district rental development manager for Caterpillar, based in Denver and a factory representative for MultiQuip.

Brad Trask has been appointed as a sales representative in Ontario, Canada. He has worked with Genie since 2006, serving initially as a product support representative, before moving into a management role in the product support team.
