Kuwaiti rental company Jassim Transport & Stevedoring (JTC) has taken delivery of a 650 tonne Demag CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler crane.
The CC 3800-1 can handle its maximum capacity at a 12-metre radius and take 110 tonnes to a height of 120 metres. Its first job involved lifting a heat exchanger as part of a large scale oil and gas project.
Chief executive Adel Kohari said: “The CC 3800-1 enhances JTC’s lifting capabilities over our Demag CC 2200, and this will put us in a position to meet the needs of our customers in the oil and gas industries even better in the future.”
Established in 1979, Jassim Transport & Stevedoring is based in Kuwait City, with a subsidiary company in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Its fleet includes All Terrain cranes, Rough Terrain cranes, crawler cranes and boom trucks, ranging from 25 to 700 tonnes.
