Italian aerial lift manufacturer CTE has launched the 25 metre Zed 25 HV truck mounted platform.
Mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis, the articulated Zed 25 HV provides 12 metres of outreach with 100kg in the platform, while the maximum platform capacity of 250kg is available up to seven metres over the side and slightly less over the rear. The lift mechanism, with dual sigma type riser and three section telescopic boom, now uses high strength SSAB steel to save weight, while slew is 320 degrees in either direction and platform rotation a full 180 degrees.
The new platform has variable outrigger set up with automatic extension and pressure sensing, including CTE's S3 Smart Stability System, which automatically adapts the working envelope to suit the actual outrigger configuration selected. Controls are all fully proportional ramped start and stop for smooth operation, while a diagnostic screen at the controls, includes an active working envelope display.
