The four axle ATF 100G-4 has a 51 metre main boom topped by an 18 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. Both cranes are fitted with Tadano’s latest outrigger set up system that automatically calculates a specific load chart for any asymmetric outrigger configuration selected, in order to get the most capacity when setting up in a tight working space. It can also travel with its full 22.5 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO Category C regulations.

Managing director Mark Francis said: “We are pleased to be able to continue the excellent relationship with Tadano with this latest purchase. Our experience with the ATF 90G-4 and its exceptionally low maintenance costs since we had it made this an easy purchase option. It also still has a separate superstructure engine which we much prefer. We have added these cranes in order to keep our fleet young and continue to provide our high standards of service to our customers.”

Based in Rhuddlan, family run Bob Francis also operates from three depots in Rhyl, Chester and Anglesey. Its fleet consists of All Terrain cranes and loader cranes.
