Arjun Mirdha moves to Genie

Genie has appointed ex JCB America CEO Arjun Mirdha as chief commercial officer. In his new role he will have global responsibility for sales, marketing, parts and service etc... and will be based at Genie headquarters in Redmond, Washington. 

Mirdha left JCB in April after 21 years with the company. He joined JCB from Ernst & Young in 1996 as a business management manager at its Rocester plant in the UK. He then moved the USA for a five year stint in sales and dealer development, moving to JCB India in 2004 where he looked after product support and then business development. His next move took him back to JCB America in 2011 as vice president sales and marketing, becoming chief operating officer for the American operation in 2012, and chief executive in January 2014.
