Scottish rental company Whyte Cargo Handlers has taken delivery of a 250 tonne Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 All Terrain crane.
The five axle LTM 1250-5.1 features a 60 metre main boom plus a 36 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which can be extended to 50 metres with inserts and offset hydraulically by up to 45 degrees.
The new crane will mostly be used on a wide range of cargo handling projects in the north east of Scotland, which include chain and anchor handling and pipe loading etc…. The crane features an elevating cab as well as with a number of mobile grabbing attachments for handling fertilisers, grain, animal feeds, salt, coal and other bulk commodities.
