Within the class of five-axle cranes, there is no way around the ATF 220G-5. With an axle load of 12 t and a 68 m long main boom, this giant can be used for diverse applications right up to those in the six-axle category. These are features also appreciated by Heß Autokran GmbH. The company has selected the TADANO mobile crane as it is the biggest in the fleet right now. We have been cooperating with TADANO for 14 years so far and are convinced by their consistently high quality. Ottfried Heß, the Managing Director, gives sound reasons for his choice: "With the ATF 220G-5, we have chosen the top model in the 220 ton category to help us handle our orders without any problems."

The ATF 220G-5's jib can be tilted mechanically or hydraulically. Thanks to the 20° or 40° offset at the main boom head, the crane lifts loads beyond the edges of buildings easily. Thus, the mobile crane is especially well suited for work which requires positioning the crane in the direct vicinity of buildings. This permits short working ranges, maximum utilization of the lifting capacity charts and, moreover, the ATF 220G-5 has a smaller footprint on construction sites.
